“Fr. Joseph Steger CMM was a man who loved peace during his lifetime,” said the Archbishop of Durban, Sigfried Mandla Jwara CMM during the requiem mass that was held at Mariannhill Monastery Church on the 13th of May 2024.
Fr. Joseph Leonhard Steger served with love and dedication for many years as a missionary in the Diocese of Mariannhill, South Africa. He returned to the Lord on the 6th of May 2024 at Mater Dolorosa in Mariannhill where he spent his retirement and was put to rest at Mariannhill cemetery.
