This year’s celebration of the 24 th of May Feast day of Abbot Francis’ Memorial was held on the 22 nd of May at Emmaus. Due to Covid 19 regulations attendees were restricted to the religious priests and brothers and hence according to that criteria it was well attended.
On the 1 st of January 2021 we lost Rev Deacon Sphelele Blessing Phewa CMM at Ethekwini Hospital. He was laid to rest on the 5 th of January 2020 and the Requiem Mass was held at Mariannhill Monastery.
